Born today, reborn Noah asleep [head, with mixed limbs], by the late Reva Schick! Totally a OOAK baby. Weighing in at a hefty 6.25lbs, and 21”. Painted with my “just minutes old” painting technique, he or she was made to resemble a baby that was just brought into the world! Her coloring is beautiful!
Details include mottling, undertones, veining, capillaries, birthmarks, dry skin, baby blemishes, baby scratches, milia, lanugo, and the incredibly realistic look of some left over vernix on hands and feet. The hands and feet are appropriately colored for a baby at the time of birth. She was painted deeply, like a baby taking their first breath, filling their body with a flood of blood flow and oxygen from the rush of being born. She has a splotchy purple birthmark on the back of one leg.
Baby has rooted dark brown lashes, and has its mouth partially open, where you can see a tiny bit of her detailed tongue. I attempted to place a magnet for a magnetic paci, but due to mouth shape, it doesn’t hold well. I will try a modified pacifier also. Baby has a magnet in her head for a magnetic bow,
Baby has full vinyl limbs on a flesh colored cloth body. Baby is weighted to feel like a real baby-please support her head as you would a baby. She is weighted with fine glass beads made exclusively for reborning, and premium fiberfill has been used. Her eyelashes have been rooted and sealed from the inside. Her nails have been tipped and glossed. She has glossing of her lips, in mouth, in ears, & in nose. She has a just born texture in some spots on her face for added realism. Baby looks cute as a boy or girl. Baby has rings in neck and limbs for easy turning. Her limbs and head are vinyl. [not silicone].
