Welcome Realborn Sage asleep, born 8/15, at 5:10p, weighing a chunky 6.75 lbs, and approx 20” long with bent legs. This chunky baby feels good in your arms! The perfect real-baby-weight feel, floppies, and a weighted head you have to support. She has full vinyl limbs on a flesh colored cloth body. Baby Sage has been painted with a newborn painting style. She has fine newborn details which include- undertones, subtle veins, capilaries, shading, mottling, baby scratches,3-d lanugo and dry baby skin, appearing on her translucently painted skin with numerous layers. She has painted hair in shades of auburn and blonde and rooted light auburn lashes. She is made to feel like a real baby-please support her as you would a baby. She is weighted with fine glass beads made exclusively for reborning, and premium fiberfill has been used. Her mohair eyelashes have been rooted and sealed from the inside. Her nails have been tipped and glossed. She has glossing of her lips, and in ears, nose, & eyelids. She has a magnet in her head for a magnetic pacifier. This sculpt looks adorable as a girl or boy! COA included. Baby wears NB size clothing. Baby also has a magnet in head for magnetic bow if girl.
Baby has 3-d lanugo and dry skin on face, and some dry skin on feet and ears-please do not pick at it, as this could compromise painting. Excessive handling/rubbing may cause it to wear over time. These dolls are not intended to be played with, or given to children. I am not responsible once the doll leaves my possession.
Baby sage has one more prominent vein on her inner wrist. This is shown in photographs. If this bothers you, do not purchase this baby. Price has been reduced to reflect this minor imperfection. Small imperfections are a normal part of any handmade item.
Her limbs and head are vinyl. [not silicone]. I photograph using natural light, in different settings, with my Cannon Rebel.
