Joy By Adrie Stoete, born October 6, weighing approximately 4.17lbs, and about 19” long. This baby was a ‘joy’ to bring to life! I’ve listed this baby as Caucasian, but quite honestly, she can be Caucasian, Asian, biracial, Hispanic, etc. Her coloring came out very pretty and unique. She has a magnet for a pacifier, but Bc her mouth is a little open, she may be able to take a modified one.
Her kit came with a small defect from the factory, so she is priced lower. You can see in one of the photos, there’s a bit of “pitting” above her top lip on one side. This doesn’t affect her paint, or beauty at all. It’s only noticeable up close. She may have small imperfections in her painting as she is a handmade item, not a factory made doll.
This baby makes a cute boy or girl-please let me know which you would like your baby to come home as upon adoption.
She has full vinyl limbs on a flesh colored cloth body. Baby Joy has been painted with a “just born” painting look/coloring/style. She has fine newborn details which may include- undertones, subtle veins, capilaries, milia, shading, mottling and baby blemishes, and a tiny scratch, appearing on her translucently painted skin with numerous layers. She has painted dark brown hair, and rooted brown lashes. She is weighted to feel like a real baby- her head falls forward/back when you pick her up-please support her head as you would a real baby. She is weighted with fine glass beads made exclusively for reborning, and premium fiberfill has been used. Her eyelashes have been sealed from the inside. Her nails have been tipped and glossed. She has glossing of her lips, & eyelids. Some of my babies have a custom cloth body style with a slightly longer neckline, to allow the head to bobble more naturally like a real baby, and allows more flexibility in posing. This is not a defect in the body, and is only visible when doll is undressed. [It keeps from needing to overweight the head to achieve flop, which can pull on and rip the cloth.]
She has a magnet in her mouth for a magnetic pacifier-care around pacemakers.
Her limbs and head are vinyl. [not silicone]. I photograph using natural light, in different settings, with my Cannon Rebel.
