Reyanna is a unique reborn drink and wet baby girl. She has been created from the Celeste sculpt by Cindy Musgrove with full legs and ¾ arms fully jointed for variety of movement and posing. She weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces and is 20 inches long with bent legs. She wears Newborn size clothing. The drink-and-wet mechanics involve plastic tubing and waterproofing of the cloth on both sides so there is no concern about the insides becoming wet. Just take special care while feeding that the bottle does not drip excessively down the mouth and neck which could possibly seep inside the cracks or damage the paint on her face. Hold the bottle so that the special nipple fits inside completely; use a bib or burp cloth to keep her face dry, and use only distilled water in the bottle. Anything else could possible build up mineral deposits inside the mechanics and cause it to stop working much the same way as coffee pot does. Do not shove the bottle or the pacifier or you may dislodge the tubing. Do not remove the torso or any parts of the body. The reborn drink/wet heads are not as floppy as other reborns because of the tubing system inside which also cannot take the stress of excessive turning or stretching. Feed the baby no more than two ounces at a time, slowly, gently squeezing the plastic bottle to send small swallows into her mouth. If you follow these guidelines, you will have a lot of fun feeding your baby and changing her diaper. Although this baby is relatively waterproof, do not immerse her in water as that would result in overloading too much water onto the parts. Reyanna has been painted with Liquitex artist/professional grade acrylic paints after proper prepping with Liquitex matt medium and proper curing before sealing. After detailed painting in many fine layers to achieve a lovely ethnic skin tone, this baby features delicate veins, capillaries, blushing, mottling, and even a newborn rash as well as realistically tipped nails. She has been rooted with excellent quality soft dark mohair for a real baby feel and it has been sealed inside so that moderate styling, brushing, washing, etc. can be done with no fear of losing hair. Also rooted are matching eyebrows and eyelashes which are done with coordinating hair. Reyanna comes home to her new mommy with the outfits shown in the pictures, a bottle and specially made pacifier, a package of diapers, and a cuddly soft blanket. All other clothing and accessories in the pictures are photo props and are not included.
