Joseph son of Jacob and Rachel was favored with a many colored coat. This baby is shown in the pictures wearing a conceptualized replica of this item as well as pieces if clothing and accessories chosen for the appropriate biblical era in which he lived. He was made from a seven month June kit from Bountiful Baby...a Realborn sculpt made from 3D scans of a live baby.
He was painted realistically with first quality acrylic paints, sealed, and rooted. His eyebrows are rooted for dimension and his eyelashes are applied in such a way that the edges are concealed inside the eye socket for a realistic effect. His fingernails and toenails are tipped and sealed. His hair is soft, gorgeous ash blonde human hair. He comes home with all the items shown in the pictures: a fake goat skin nursing bottle, a magnetic pacifier, a soft blanket, a tunic and pants made of loose woven cloth as that which was hand-woven, and sandals.
Joseph is approximately 24 inches long and weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces.
This baby is number 5 of 6 dolls in the Babies of the Bible collection. Foue others are listed separately in my shop, and one more is nearing completion.
