This sweet tiny baby girl doll has been created, by me, from the realborn kit, Clyde from Bountiful Baby. I saw this kit more as a little baby girl than I boy and I have dressed her as a preemie baby girl. I always do pick a name for my babes as I'm working on them. For this little angel, my name choice is Gillian. If you decide to adopt her for your very own and want a different name, please advise me at time of payment. Also, the name of the adopting parent.
I've chosen to reborn my doll as a very newborn baby with lovely blotchy skin tones, stork bites and many details for a newborn. I have used only genesis heat set paints on my baby girl. As you may know, these paints actually adhere to the vinyl and become part of the doll.
Gillian has been adorably blushed and shaded on all of the little wrinkles, creases and folds. I am always very detailed in creating my reborns and it does take me many hours, days and weeks to create a doll as realistic as this one is.
The baby doll is tiny weighing barely three pounds and is about 17 to 18 inches long. Baby has full legs and 3/4 arms. She weighs preemie size and with full legs can wear a large variety of clothing. The limbs can be gently moved and positioned. Baby's head can also be gently turned from side to side.
The doll's body is a quality doe suede like cloth. I use only fine quality items in weighting and stuffing my dolls. I weight the doll with fine glass beads, plastic poly pellets and quality fiber fill. Gillian poses very sweetly and curls up in my arms like an angel. You will be amazed at her realism.
I specialize in painting the hair on my babies. I, personally, love the look I can get using a paint brush with only a few bristles. I can get lovely baby hairs, precious swirls and sweet painted eyebrows that match babies hair. I love the close to the head, slightly balding look that I can achieve with painting the head. It is perfect for putting on lots of headbands, baby bonnets and little caps.
The doll's nose has been shaded for realism. Baby's lips were painted with a soft variety of precious pinks. The doll's lips, finger and toe nails were finished off with a coat of air dry gloss. Gillian has precious hand rooted eyelashes that have been sealed from the inside. The doll has been given very soft subtle veining and very realistic undertones.
The doll has been fitted with a magnetic pacifier and also has a baby bottle fitted with a magnet. The bottle can be filled with liquid and tightly sealed to prevent any leaking. The bottle will come to you with no liquid inside. This makes posing baby with a bottle very realistic as it will hold onto the doll's mouth. PLEASE DO USE CAUTION AROUND ANY EQUIPMENT SENSITIVE TO A STRONG MAGNET OR ANY PERSONS SENSITIVE TO STRONG MAGNETS.
My doll has not been created to be a play toy for a small child. It is a fine collectible and should be treated with care.

I am ALWAYS up front and honest in describing my babies. If you would like any additional photographs please contact me. This baby doll is a quality collectible. I wish to point out the palms and fingers on this doll do have shine to them. Also the left arm is slightly shiny on the bottom side.
The doll's layette will include the clothing she is seen wearing. It includes the hand crochet baby cocoon and matching hat. I include a custom adoption certificate with the date of adoption, the name of the doll and the name of the adopting parent. The certificate of authenticity from Bountiful Baby will be included. Layette includes the magnet and baby bottle. Also, I include a care sheet with my suggestions for keeping the doll in pristine condition.
No other items or props will be included. You will not be disappointed with the reborn doll. I hope my pictures show how much skill, talent and absolute love of the art went into creating Gillian.
