This little red headed lad is Oskar. An Olga Auer Kit weighing 5 pounds 3 ounce and is 20 inches long. Very realistic in looks and feel. He wears newborn clothing. He has been painted with heat set paints to reflect his newborn skin tones. He has fine detailing including veining and capillaries throughout his body. He has the cutest little finger and toe nails.
Oskar has full vinyl limbs and a soft doe suede body. He is filled with fine glass beads surrounded by soft polyfil. I gave him a very full head of hair. Oskar’s hair is micro-rooted with quality red mohair. Although I ordered medium brown the mohair arrived red so I just went with it and gave him green eyes and ever so slightly lighter skin tone to fit his Irish heritage. His lashes are rooted in a slightly darker brown over his big green eyes. He takes a magnetic pacifier.
Due to lighting, some of the photos doe not reflect the color of his red hair. The photo where he is holding his bottle best reflects the true color.
As in all my reborns, quality is important. Oskar’s hair, eye lashes and pacifier magnet have been double glued. In addition, his pacifier has a moleskin cover to insure it stays put. His flanges have a hard-smooth covering which allows her connectors to be nice and tight yet makes her limbs move easily. His paint is sealed with Americana Soft Touch Varnish. This gives a nice matt finish that is soft to the touch.
