Sweet Lil Jude by Laura Tuzio Ross is 18 inches long and weighs 5 pounds 1 ounces. He is a very realistic looking newborn with the cutest little face. I set his eyes slightly cross eyed. I can’t even explain how real this looks when you are holding him in your arms and he is looking up at you. You have to experience it for yourself.
He wears newborn clothing. He has been meticulously painted with heat set paint. He has fine veining, mottling and capillaries throughout his body including eye lids and inside of ears. He has peach fuzz on his forehead and tiny milia on his nose. He has the cutest little finger and toe nails. For more added realism I added a full belly plate. His details are amazing. The belly plate is removable, it simply sits there held on by his diaper.
Lil Jude has full vinyl limbs and a doe suede body. He is filled with fine glass beads surrounded by soft polyfil. His hair is painted in multiple shades of light brown. I gave his hair a very light newborn look using very thin strokes. His lashes are rooted over his beautiful blue eyes. He takes a magnetic pacifier.
As in all my reborns, quality is important. Lil Jude’s eye lashes and pacifier have been double glued. In addition, his pacifier has a moleskin cover to insure it stays put. His flanges have a smooth covering which allows her connectors to be nice and tight yet makes his limbs move easily. He is sealed with Americana Soft Touch Varnish. This gives a nice matt finish that is smooth to the touch.
