Nina Ann is a reborn cuddle baby the head is sculpted by Antonio Sanchis - the kit was purchased from MacPhearsons. Nina has a soft weighted cuddle body also from MacPhearsons as well and is perfect for a therapy doll or just a little one to hug when needed.
Nina is painted to resemble a realistic newborn with full details on her head, light mottling, veining, light blush, and some light eyelid capillaries. I use RebornFX airdry paints from Irrestiables and varnish from MacPherson Arts & Crafts- she is weighted at approx. 4lbs. She has a magnet, can take a magnetic pacifier, and comes home with one.
Nina has combi hair -(combination painted and lightly rooted) on top of her head and very lightly rooted around the back crown of her head (see pictures ). Nina also has painted eyelashes and painted eyebrows. Nina has top-quality soft synthetic hair that holds waves. I use professional-grade synthetic hair on most of my reborns as I feel it gives a natural look, is very easy to maintain, has longevity, and is easy to style for photos and everyday cuddling. The hair can be styled easily with water or detangler -I use Ebin brand 5-second spray to condition her hair and fingerstyle it to add more waves.
