Serena is a partial silicone premie baby created from the Serena kit with COA by Tay Freitas -she wears very small premie or even micro premie clothing. She was poured by the Dainty Loft with Eco-Flex 20 silicone. Serena is a premie so she has age-appropriate creasing, light veining, and blushing with nail beds painted and tipped naturally. I use Enifis nature colors silicone pigments purchased from MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Serena has lightly micro rooted hair and rooted eyelashes -soft yearling mohair also from MacPherson Arts & Crafts.
As with many silicone dolls, she does have minor color variations in her finish, as she is my first silicone doll to create. I did her matting with Silicone Velvet and some areas took slightly more than others, please view the pictures to be sure her finish is acceptable to you before purchase, she has a small area on her lower right cheek (pictured) that had to be re matted so it has a very slight variation in skin tone. * I will also send home with her a small tube/bag of Silicone Velvet for touch-ups when needed. In summary, she is not a flawless baby, but she is a delicate sweet little one, that is unique and would be a great addition to any reborn collection. Lightly weighted with -glass beads in her cloth body center and Angel silk polyfill.
