Welcome reborn Noah asleep, by the late Reva Schick! Born 8/30, weighing about 6.7lbs, and 20” long. Baby has full legs and 3/4 jointed arms. Painted with my newborn painting technique, he or she was made to resemble a newborn baby! Her coloring and details are just beautiful!
Details include mottling, undertones, veining, capillaries, birthmarks, dry skin, baby blemishes, milia, lanugo, creasing, shading, blushing, and many translucent color layers. She has a slight texture on some places on her face to give the illusion of pores/real skin. She even has a little drool pooling inside her bottom lip in front of tongue. [see photo].
Baby has rooted dark brown lashes, to match her stunning dark brown painted hair. This technique takes me over 24 total hours to create, and no 2 babies will be alike.
Baby has a flesh colored cloth body. Baby is weighted to feel like a real baby-please support her head as you would a baby. She is weighted with fine glass beads made exclusively for reborning, and premium fiberfill has been used. Her eyelashes have been rooted and sealed from the inside. Her nails have been tipped and glossed. She has glossing of her lips, in ears, & in nose. She does have a magnet in head for a pacifier, but due to slightly open mouth, not all pacifiers stay on well. She probably could take a modified pacifier as well. She comes with a magnetic one. She wears NB size. She has a nice feel, and realistic flop.
Baby looks cute as a boy or girl. Baby has rings on neck and legs for easy turning. Her limbs and head are vinyl. [not silicone]. I photograph using natural light, in different settings, with my Cannon Rebel.
