Welcome Reborn Laura! Born 5/30, at 5:04p. Laura is about 21” long with bent legs, and wears NB size. She is about 7.5 lbs, and has a very nice feel. She has full limbs for amazing poseability. She is painted in a gorgeous newborn style, with many translucent layers that include eyelid and ear capillaries, veining, light mottling, undertones, shading, blushing, faint milia, some baby acne, a baby scratch, glossing on her lips, in ears, in nose, and on nails. Her face has light texture to give the appearance of pores/real skin. She has stunningly painted dark brown hair. Every hair has been meticulously painted one by one. This technique of hair painting took me over 6 hours to complete. Baby has complimentary rooted brown mohair eye lashes, which have been sealed from the inside.
Baby looks adorable as a boy or a girl. Baby also has a strong magnet in her head for a magnetic pacifier. No detail has been overlooked! She was painted with heat set paints, and a heat set matte varnish was used. She is weighted and her head flops like a real baby-please support her head and limbs. I use a mixture of artist weighting materials and premium and luxury pollyfill to give my babies their unique feel. This popular sculpt is super realistic and poses perfectly. She curls up nicely in your arms as well.
Baby is a one of a kind-can not be duplicated, esp her hair painting.
She is an authentic Bonnie Brown sculpt, and includes her COA.
She has rings on her neck and legs for easy turning.
Her limbs and head are vinyl. [not silicone]. I photograph using natural light, in different settings, with my Cannon Rebel.
