Offered in this listing is Realborn Michael as a baby girl. A Realborn is produced from 3D images of a real baby that has been scanned. Every little fold and wrinkle is captured producing a highly detailed and realistic vinyl baby kit. I have painted baby Mikayla in a fair skin tone with subtle mottling and veining. I took her photos over several days so there are some slight differences in the coloring in of her skin. She does have a fair skin tone and the first images are the closest to in person on my monitor. I have shaded thin skin areas and creases, added a medium to places that are moist such as lips, inner ear, and inside her nose, and I have blushed and highlighted other areas. Her nails have realistic tips and have been sealed. Mikayla has painted light brown hair with a warm reddish undertone and delicate painted brows. Her lashes were rooted with brown mohair, then sealed inside. Mikayla’s paint has been sealed all over to protect her painting with Soft Touch varnish which produces a velvet like soft feel.
She is about 20” but has slightly curled legs. She weighs about 5 pounds and is weighted using fine glass beads and poly-fil. She can wear most 0-3 months the body suit I have on her is tagged 3-6 months and is a little big, but I like this because it makes it easy to get on and off. The little cotton dress she has on is older and I pinned some reproduction Victorian era loop bows on so those can be removed.. It has a few minor age-related flaws, but is freshly cleaned and charming. I love my babies in antique clothing for my own collection, so I am sending her with this dress. Not pictured on Mikayla, but included is a pair of antique crochet baby booties. She contains a very strong magnet for her pacifier and thus should be kept away from sensitive electronic devices such as pacemakers.
