Please read carefully as this is a special offering. Offered in this listing is Baby Avery as a cuddle baby. This means that Avery has a painted vinyl head, but her limbs and body are cloth. This baby girl began as a baby that I was testing new air dry paint on- I only painted the head and used the limbs for another kit. I thought I would likely just strip the head, but she came out really nice and I have had several of those who follow my work ask if she would be available- so here she is. She has mottling, blushing, crease detail, veining, and thin skin and shading details. Her hair is painted in medium brown as are her eyebrows. She has rooted mohair lashes that are sealed inside. I have added gloss to lips and other areas that are typically moist.
I made her cuddle body from white flannel and added disc joints so her arms and legs pose- but as you can see I am not a seamstress and the body should be a little longer for her. Thus I have priced her so that you can enjoy her with her less than perfect body or replace it with a professionally made version. She is about 17 inches with curled legs and weighs around 3 pounds. She will fit small newborn or large preemie in most brands. The body has enclosed glass beads and poly-fil, the limbs poly-fill only, and the head is weighted with enclosed glass beads and poly-fil- it will need support just like a real infant. Avery does have a strong magnet in place for a pacifier, so care should be taken around sensitive electronics such as pacemakers.
She will come with the gown you see her in, a diaper, a magnetic pacifier (but NOT the one pictured), flower tieback, and with birth certificate and care instructions. Please note that she is an art doll, not a child’s toy. She is neither intended for, nor safe for children.
