Sandie was created from the limited edition Sandie kit by the very talented sculptor Joanna kazmierczac. She is number. 110 of only 2,900 world wide. She will come home with her certificate of authenticity She is 7 pounds 9 ounces and 25 inches tall. She has full arms and full legs which makes her such a joy to dress in many different kinds of outfits. I have posed her standing but she really does need to be balanced against something to help her stay standing.for the most part. She can stand on her own wearing shoes but is not real steady. Layers and layers of Ulimate fusion paints was used to create this amazing living skin tones and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Sandies body has been filled with fresh fiber fill with a weighting bag in her neck going up into her head for more stability. Sandie has an armature in her body that goes into her arms and her legs to help with posing and standing. I have stuffed her body pretty full so you can’t feel the armature quite as much and because she looks so cute with a chubby toddler belly. Armature can be felt in some places. Some like their toddlers stuffed less to look thinner and some like them stuffed more to pose easier. I do not accept returns so her new mommy can choose to add to or take away some of the stuffing of the body on their own. Her limbs are filled with the same mixture of glass beads, poly pellets and fiberfill as well but the armature does take up some room in limbs so less glass beads and poly pellets can be used. I have only filled her head with fiberfill so their is no weighting in her head. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her fingernails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed for protection and her veins are painted to appear under the sking for ultimate realism. I have given her a little birthmark on the back of her leg to make her a true one of a kind baby which you can view in the details picture. Her lips and mouth have been lightly glossed for that natural wet look. Sandie has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. Her hair has been rooted with 4 different shades of premium mohair from Delta Dawn to give her natural highlights. Her hair can be styled in different hairstyles like two little pony tails or one on top of head. Her hair is rooted with a very small needle that takes many hours to complete such a beautiful head of hair but the realism it creates is well worth it. Her hair is double sealed inisde her head so her new mommy can lighly moisten and comb but comb gently as to not pull any out. Her eyebrows were haind painted on one lash at a time and her eyelashes were hand applied to match her hair. She has beautiful blue glass eyes. She does not have any magnets in her as she can take a cut modified pacifier so she is safe for all uses.
All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. Sandie will also have her plaid and Pom Pom long sleeved bubble with the black bow socks and the red boots as well as her Christmas bear hair clip. She will have her red plaid and heart footed outfit with her big silver bow. She will have her white Pom Pom white winter hat, pink bottle , hair elastics and clips to do her hair different ways, her Sesame Street red Christmas diaper, her unicorn cut modified pacifier , her yellow heart fuzzy blanket, her certificate of authenticity , a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all of her items may not be new but they were all picked out just for her.
