Lyra was created from the Lyra kit by the very talented sculptor Ping Lau . She will come with a certificate of authenticity from the sculptor as proof that she is not a fake kit. Lyra weighs 8 pounds 7 ounces and is 28 inches long. She has full arms and full legs which makes her such a joy to dress in many different kinds of outfit as well as a upper half torso with internal connectors that hold the arms and head onto the torso. The head onto the beach and arms into the torso rubs together so some paint might come off from rubbing but should not be noticeable as it’s inside where they connect. Layers and layers of Ulimate fusion paints was used to create this amazing living skin tones and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Lyras bottom half is made of cloth. It has a weight bag with glass beads in the bottom of this and than filled with fiberfill. The limbs have been filled with fresh fiber fill, and a mixture of plastic pellets and glass beads. Her upper torso is filled with just fiberfill and Since she is an older baby/toddler Her head is only filled with fiberfill so that she can be posed to sit up and her head will not flop like a little baby. I have posed her standing but she can not stand on her own. She only stands propped up against something. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her fingernails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed for protection and her veins are painted to appear under the skin for ultimate realism. Her lips have been lightly glossed for that natural wet look. Lyra has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. Her hair has been rooted with 4 different shades of premium mohair from Delta Dawn for natural reddish highlights. Her hair is rooted with a very small needle that takes many hours to complete such a beautiful head of hair but the realism it creates is well worth it. Her hair is double sealed inside her head so her new mommy can lighly moisten and comb but comb gently as to not pull any out. Her eyebrows were haind painted on one lash at a time and her eyelashes were hand applied to match her hair. She has beautiful blue glass eyes that I have placed off center on purpose as I think this look matched her expression. Lyra does have a magnet behind her lips for her magnetic pacifier so care must be taken around children, pacemakers, electronics, and pets as these are very strong earth magnets
All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let her get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like her

Lyra will come home with her jungle animal one piece romper, her maroon onesie shirt with big collar , her white socks and her vintage baby shoes that I have hand painted. These shoes are a gift with the baby so if paint scuffs or rubs off shoes I am not responsible. She will come home with her leopard cloth diaper cover, her Kate Quinn bear hat and her rust colored sweater. Lyra will have her Kate Quinn side snap onesie, her turquoise hair clips, her orange color hair clips, elastics for ponytail, and her white sparkle hair clip. She will have her mini mouse blanket sleeper, her pink baby bottle, and her Minnie Mouse pacifier. Lyra will have her red and green plaid bubble romper, her black knee socks with bows and her white bonnet. She will have her pink rainbow receiving blanket , her certificate of authenticity, a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet. The flowered coat is part of my photo shop items as well as the toys and stuffed animal so they are not included. I belive in supporting my local second hand shops so all of her items may not be new but they were all picked out just for her.
