Nino was created from the limited edition Nino kit by the talented sculpter Vincenzina Care. He is a time limited edition of one year production and is currently sold out. He will have his certificate of authenticity. This kit is the very first dwarf kit ever made. He portrays a baby with achondroplasia dwarfism. He has short arms, short legs, an enlarged head and a normal size torso. He has been one of my favorite kits to paint and I have just loved working on him. He weighs 6 pounds 1 ounces and is about 19.5 inches long with bent legs. Layers and layers of Premium Airdry Ultimate Fusion paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Nino's limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. He has a pretty big head and I have weighted it to be a little heavy. Babies with this form of dwarfism usually have low muscle tone so their heads need lots of support. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. His finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevet chipping.. His lips have been glossed to give a natural moist look. His veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism . Nino has baby powder scented wafers in his body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. His hair is rooted with premium mohair from Delta Dawn in 4 different shades as to give natural highlights. His hair has been rooted in a natural swirl pattern with a very small needle. This took over 28 hours to root but the realism it creates is well worth it. As you can see from the pictures his hair can be combed straight. I love his little boy hair cut as it is short on the sides and back and a little longer to curl up on top of his head. His new mommy can lightly and fluff up to hav it curl. His eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. His eyelashes I have hand rooted. .All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered other than cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let him get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like him. Nino will come home with only the items listed here and any items in pictures not listed here were used as my photo props and not part of the sale.. Nino will come with his white sleeper with the suspenders and plaid tie, his vintage red white and blue train Shortie, white socks and vintage blue baby shoes, he will have his two piece green bear onesie shirt with matching leggings with the bear on the butt and reindeer socks. He will also have his Kate Quinn bread bloomers and elf hat. He will have his Levi Jean one piece romper with his cool sunglasses , socks and dinosaur sun hat. He will have his white long sleeved side snap shirt , his red and black one piece outfit, bear bootie socks, and his red bunny ear hat. Nino will also have his dinosaur blanket, his green plaid diaper, a baby bottle, his blue pacifier his certificate of authenticity ,a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all items may not be brand new but all were picked out just for him.
