Sandie was created from the limited edition Sandie kit by the very talented sculptor Joanne kazmierczac. She is number. 109 of only 2,900 world wide. She will come home with her certificate of authenticity She is 8 pounds 4 ounces and 25 inches tall. She has full arms and full legs which makes her such a joy to dress in many different kinds of outfits. I have posed her standing but she does need to be balanced against something to help her stay standing. She can sit in a chair but she needs to be leaning against something to sit by herself. Layers and layers of Ulimate fusion paints was used to create this amazing living skin tones and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Sandies body has been filled with fresh fiber fill, with a weighting bag in her bottom and I have put homemade weighting tube filled with glass beads that goes up into her head to help hold her body and head from flopping when being posed. I have stuffed her body quite a bit to help her stand better. Some like their toddlers stuffed less to look thinner and some like them stuffed more to pose easier. I do not accept returns so her new mommy can choose to add to or take away some of the stuffing of the body on their own. Her limbs are filled with the same mixture of glass beads, poly pellets and fiberfill as well. I have only filled her head with fiberfill so their is no weighting in her head. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her fingernails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed for protection and her veins are painted to appear under the sking for ultimate realism. Her lips and mouth have been lightly glossed for that natural wet look. Sandie has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. Her hair has been microrooted with 3 different shades of premium mohair from Reborn1949 to give her natural highlights. Her hair can be styled in different hairstyles combed pretty straight, misted and made curly, pigtails, and one pony tail Her hair is rooted with a very small needle that takes many hours to complete such a beautiful head of hair but the realism it creates is well worth it. Her hair is double sealed inisde her head so her new mommy can lighly moisten and comb but comb gently as to not pull any out. Her eyebrows were haind painted on one lash at a time and her eyelashes were hand applied to match her hair. She has beautiful blue glass eyes. She has a magnet in her head in case her new mommy wants to use a mortified hair bow so care must be taken around electronics, children, pets, and pace makers as these are very strong earth magnets.
All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. She will have her beautiful flowered one piece outfit with embroidered collar, her white ruffle socks, her vintage pink and white walking shoes that I have modified as they were originally all white, her reversible pink and flowered bunny ear hat. Sandie will also have her pink bunny dress which is all one piece but looks like a white shirt underneath and her dark pink work boots. She has her knit one piece red and white outfit with the embroidered flower on it. She will have elastics for her ponytails, her pink Barretts and her turquoise butterfly hair clips. Sandie will also have her maroon long sleeved dress with the woodland animals on it with her grey knee socks with bows on them ,her pink shoes with the flower on them and her coral button up sweater. She will have her green modified pacifier with the pacifier clip, a blanket of my choice not seen, her certificate of authenticity , a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet I belive in supporting my local second hand shops so all of her items may not be new but they were all picked out just for her.
