Meet Jasper! I created Jasper from the Stanley Oliver kit sculpted by Vincenzina Care of Chenza Dolls. Jasper was sculpted to represent a baby with Down Syndrome. This adorable happy little guy weighs 5 lbs 2 ozs and is 19 inches long. He is an art doll that took many hours to create. Jasper has realistic life like looking skin that I painted with many layers of genesis heat set paints, with layers including foundation, veins, mottling, details, flesh layers etc. I painted his eyebrows and rooted his eye lashes. I applied and baked on a final matte varnish layer. I directionally rooted Jasper's curly golden red hair with premium mohair and it's glued inside his head. His hair is cut and styled into a fauxhawk. He has blue glass eyes that were handmade in Lauscha Germany. Jasper has a cloth body which contains sacks of fine glass beads and polyfill as does his limbs and head. He is weighted to feel like a real baby. His limbs and head are sealed with E6000 glue and a plastic disc. His head has a strong magnet glued behind his lips for his magnetic pacifier that I made for him. Due to the magnet in his head please use caution around ICD devices, pacemakers and other devices similar. Jasper comes with his favorite toy (small tiger), magnetic pacifier, hair brush, pajama set with hat, fleece camouflage hoodie, fleece pants, animal print bodysuit, tiger gerber onesie, a few diapers, birth certificate and Certificate of Authenticity. I put my artists signature on the bottom of one of his butt cheeks on his cloth body. He will also come with an info and care sheet. He wears newborn size clothing.
