Meet chubby little monkey Dustin! Realborn Dustin Asleep by Bountiful Baby was brought to life by Amy Phipps of Dazzling Reborns by Amy. I love this little boy! He's supper cute and cuddly. The only reason I'm selling him is that I'm having a custom made who has hair exactly like my real son's as a newborn. Dustin is a realborn, which means he was sculpted from a real human infant. Amy used over 20 layers of hand-painted heat-set paints and hand rooted hairs. His thick dark brown mohair was micro-rooted. He has thick rooted long eyelashes. He is super fun to pose for pictures. All the toys are my actual son's and not included. Look at his chubby cheeks and chubby little legs. So precious.
This beautiful baby boy was hand painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints in many layers with subtle veining and mottling. He is filled with fine glass beads for weighting and a silky soft poly fill to make him extra cuddly. He has full arms and legs and a cloth body. When I hold Dustin, he feels like a real baby! Please notice that he has a small scratch over his left eye. To me, it is a baby scratch that is healing and only enhances the real newborn effect.
