I do not own any reborns done by other artists to compare mine to. Please ask any questions you may have to be sure this is the reborn for you.

Skin Tones~ Many thin translucent layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints have been individually heat set for each layer to build up a realistic baby toned skin with rosey undertones and veining. Delicate blue undertones where the skin appears to be naturally thinner are also present. All Creases have been highlighted and shaded. Alma has tiny milk spots on the nose and around the inside eye corners. Her nails are nicely manicured. The nails have a delicate sheen as well as her lips, nostrils and eyelids. I have sealed and textured the skin with a Genesis Heat Set Medium to give the skin a matte and textured finish. The varnish has a textured look and feel.
Hair~ The hair is hand rooted to have a newborn thin density with premium quality hair in a honey blonde hue. Lashes are hand rooted. Hair and lashes are sealed from the inside so it can be gently styled with water spritzed onto a soft bristle baby brush. Alma's eyebrows are hand painted. There is also dainty hand painted lanugo present throughout her forehead and around the hairline. This was a new technique for me and while some may love it, others may not favor it. I'm ok with that. I personally love it!
Weighing & Filling~ This realborn has a tan non-jointed body filled with a combination of premium glass beads and fiber fill to give a realistic weight and feel. The limbs have been appropriately balanced and weighted with micro fine premium glass beads and topped with fiber fill. The head is weighted with premium glass beads and surrounded with fiber fill. On the inside of the mouth is a magnet fitted to hold the pacifier in place. There is also a magnet on within the head to hold a magnetic hair accessory. Be aware of this when this doll is around those with pacemakers.
