Each crease and fold was painted using many layers of genesis heat set paint before being sealed with a matte finish to create the baby you see here. Pearls hair is dark brown hand painted, with rooted eyelashes. She is weighted with glass beads in all the right places and she curls right up in your arms when you hold her. She is quite floppy just like a newborn and will need to be supported as you would a real newborn baby when holding her.
Pearl wears preemie size and smaller newborn clothes, as well as newborn diapers.
