Small but mighty, ginger haired Matty has just “come to life” in my home studio from the Bountiful Baby Realborn Madison kit. He has light, dreamy blue eyes and peachy-toned lips, with a very subtle light golden cast to his complexion.
Matty is 18” long and weighs four pounds. His vinyl arms and limbs are attached with sturdy, firmly fitting knot-tied strings (the ones that come with the kit), so they rotate a bit in the sockets. His vinyl head is attached via zip tie and doesn’t rotate. Matty is weighted with fine glass beads and filled for a plump feel with polyfill. His fingernails are tipped but as I am a new artist they aren’t perfect. Please be sure to look closely at his images. The hand with the closed fingers has some white chalky residue. There are a few mismarks on one of his hands.
I reborned and sealed/varnished little Matty using air dry acrylics (Reborn FX). His light red hair is hand drawn with premiere Prismacolor pencil and has been sealed so it won’t rub off. Close up, there are a few chalky spots and small impurities in his skin. He comes with all the new Carter’s koala themed clothes and accessories shown as well as his plush koala blankie blanket toy. This sweet boy will come with a receiving blanket, a care instructions sheet and two diapers. Matty takes newborn sizes.
