This gorgeous baby was brought to life with multiple layers of Genesis Heat Set paint. He/She has several layers of mottling and skin tone layers to achieve the realistic skin tone. The last layer on the skin was sealant to ensure the paint never fades or wears off. The sealant gives a slight texture to the skin.
The head, body, and limbs have been weighted with glass beads to feel realistic in your arms. His/her head has been weighted to be floppy and you'll want to support it as if you are holding a real baby.
Romy has a cloth body with full arms and full legs.
The sweet baby has soft veining on the head and limbs. The little nails have been very neatly tipped and sealed.
Hair: Romy's hair was meticulously painted in brown and has been sealed. I have lightly painted fine blond hair on the forehead, temples, brows and even a few on little ears and cheeks. Eyebrows were painted very lightly and sealed as well.
Eyelashes were rooted one by one and sealed from within.
For ultra realism, I have painted tiny milk bumps on the nose. She has tiny, subtle scratches on her cheek.
Caution! A magnet has been placed on the inside of the head and the pacifier. Caution should be taken around a magnetic field such as pacemakers, computers, and credit cards, etc.
Going Home:
Romy will go home with certificate of authenticity, a little, non gender belly plate that ties around the cloth body, baby bib, onesie, blanket, magnetic pacifier, diaper, blank birth certificate, and care instructions. You choose if you want Romy to be sent home with a girl or boy sleeper and accessories.
