Pouty princess Daphne is a three month size baby girl from the Elly Knoops Daphne kit. She is a charmer but her beginner artist boo boos make her a beautiful bargain. (Be sure to see her video).
Daphne’s cloth body size is larger than ideal (should have been a 20” but I used a 22”). Her 3/4 length arms and legs are chunky for her head, but layers and sweaters make it less apparent.
Daphne’s head is 14” around. She has acrylic dreamy blue eyes. Her medium brown hair and brows are drawn on in Prismacolor pencil (sealed). She has been painted in air dry acrylics (Reborn FX line). There is a small glossy varnish mark on her head. Her complexion, especially on the head, has some shadowy undertones that show up in indirect light. They look a little dirty from some angles, but it’s paint. This is partly why she’s at a bargain price. She only has lower lashes, which are painted on.
Sweet Daphne is stuffed with polyfill and weighted with glass beads. She’s a hair over five pounds and I find her cuddly. I hope you will too!
She is not magnetized for a passie. This darling girl comes with a flannel receiving blanket (not the one shown) and a plush unicorn pal, plus a diaper and a care sheet. She wears three month clothes. The sweater in the pics is newborn and a bit too small but it’s so cute I included it.
