Beautiful Ivy Jane by Melody Hess…a drink and wet 3 month size reborn doll Ivy Jane is a full vinyl reborn with a torso by Sheila Michael. Her drink and wet mechanism is done through tubing which is permanently installed. She is 22 inches long and weighs 9 pounds. She is a limited edition sculpt #347/500. This baby is truly a gem. She has gorgeous, soft, golden blonde hair rooted into a sweet baby style. She can wear bows and headbands without magnets. SHE HAS NO MAGNETS WHATSOEVER. Her hair is golden blond luxurious mohair of the finest quality.
She is weighted with pure glass beads and polyester fiberfill. Her lashes are rooted. Her eyebrows are painted. Her nails are tipped but not polished or manicured for realism like a real baby. She has adorable creases, blushing, and very faint mottling. She was painted with artist grade acrylics and has been properly cured and sealed to assure she will not fade as time passes.
Ivy Jane will drink water, colored water, or faux formula made from sunscreen and distilled water. Other types of fake milk MAY work, but I can only guarantee the sunscreen type because it has been thoroughly tested and found to be safe for her insides. To prevent any possible clogging, simply feed her a bottle of vinegar water once n a while to keep her fresh and clean. Only use food coloring to make fake juices for her…never use paint.
There is one flaw on this baby which does not detract from her beauty or the way she functions. There was a small tear in the vinyl of her torso near the top of her leg. This has been repaired satisfactorily and will allow her to be held and dressed and posed. It is noticeable due to the slight difference in texture of the repair medium, but this disclosure is made for you to make your decision about a purchase with full necessary information.
Ivy Jane wears Newborn and 0-3 month size clothing.
