Welcome to the world, baby Sugar!
Baby Sugar is created with the face of “Sugar” sculpted by Master Artist Donna Rubert and using the limbs of “Realborn Phineas” of Bountiful Baby. The original “Sugar” sculpt has 3/4 arms, and so I swapped them with what I had on hand in my Nursery- the Phineas limbs- so now baby Sugar is a full limbed baby.
She is a vinyl doll with full vinyl arms and legs on a firmly stuffed doe suede cloth body. She is weighted to about 4.5 lbs and head weight in her head as well. Sugar is weighted with fine glass beads. She’s about 19” long and wears newborn sized clothing. She’s shown in a Preemie onesie because that is what I had on hand for her photos I needed to show her limbs to you. Her knit outfit is size newborn.
Sugar is meticulously handpainted with Genesis Heat Set Paints that are top quality and are heat cured. They will never chip, crack, or fade. Beautiful undertones and creasing, veining, and mottling throughout. She is microrooted with Delta Dawn “Dark Chocolate Chip” colored premium mohair, with lashes rooted to match. She has handpainted brows. Her hair is sealed inside to allow wetting and styling. These precious art dolls need to have care taken with their hair.
