Baby Emma is created from the sculpt “Realborn Emma Asleep” by Bountiful Baby. A Realborn is a vinyl sculpt created by using 3-D scan technology of a real newborn baby. This one is special because the original sculpt of “Emma” had 3/4 length arms, but I have subbed those out for full length arms, those from the sculpt of “Realborn Jade Asleep” because I love those tight closed fists of a real newborn baby.
Emma is meticulously handpainted with many fine layers of top brand Genesis Heat Set Paints. She is beautiful microrooted with chocolate brown highest quality mohair- it is easy to manage. Eyelashes are rooted to match.
She is weighted to about 5 lbs with proportional head weighting to simulate the feel of a real newborn in your arms that needs your support for her head.
She has fully vinyl limbs on a doe suede cloth body, weighted with fine glass beads from Bountiful Baby. Emma is a good newborn size, about 20inches and wears Newborn Sized clothing.
