Astro is the Realborn Logan asleep sculpt and was created using 3D imagery of an actual newborn baby. Astro is 19 inches long, is a full limbed vinyl baby and has a soft cloth body weighted generously with micro glass beads.
Astro was used for an independent film project. The prop masters returned him in perfect condition. His coloring was specific to the project and a little bit more pale than I normally paint a baby. He has a lot of blue undertones. His price does reflect his being borrowed for this project.
Astro is a fair baby with hair painted in several shades of light and medium brown. He is top rooted with light brown hair for added realism. He is a sweet boy (or girl) a nice cuddle and he is magnetized (he will come home with his nursery Paci).
I took these photos in my sunroom in natural light, I took a couple closer to the window so you could get a feel for his true skin tone, the paler photo is most accurate.
Astro is lightly scented and ready for his forever home. He would make a great first reborn, would be wonderful for a teen or tween, and would make a great therapy baby (if he will be used as a therapiy baby I can remove his earth magnet and lighten him up a bit).
Real Reborns are made one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if we feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description.
Our babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. We do not weigh babies, they are filled to be as realistic as we can make them. If this is meant to be a therapy doll let us know so we can make the baby lighter for you.
Photography is done in our studio with natural lighting available at the time. Our images are not filtered or altered and may not be used without permission. We try to keep photography as honest as we can.
Feel free to ask questions we love answering them, please note that Saint Cloud does have a no return policy. Make sure this is the baby you really want before you order. We also DO NOT do customs, lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time. All our babies are going home for the first time.
(A "box opening" is a separate charge of 50.00. We usually do these for our You Tube friends that film their box openings or want to make the opening special for the person they are gifting the baby to. The items in a box opening are chosen by Saint Cloud Nursery for that particular baby.
Our babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
