This is Saffron, she is the Americus sculpt by Laura Lee Eagles. She is a Limited Edition sculpt and will come with her COA. Saffron is a full limbed vinyl baby with a soft cloth body generously weighted with micro glass beads. She is magnetized and lightly scented.
Saffron is my most favorite baby in the nursery right now, Her sculpt is gorgeous. She has delicate features, beautiful lips and reminds me of a baby bird. I especially love the way her little fingers curl. Her proportions and details are perfection. I painted her as an ethnic baby. She translates differently to different people. Her skin tone is hard to explain, to me it is caramel. Her shading and undertones are gold and blue she has a lot of depth.
She is a lovely baby with painted hair in three shades of brown, it has been sealed and textured. I did not top root her because her hair painting was lovely but if you would like me to I can, there would be an added charge and would delay her being sent out a couple days. I did not seal and texture her skin but I would be happy to if you prefer.
I made her for a Tedx conference I was a participant in. She was well received, help and passed around to the audience members.
I can honestly say you have to hold her and see her in person to appreciate her sweetness.
Real Reborns are made one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if we feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description.
Our babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. We do not weigh babies, they are filled to be as realistic as we can make them. If this is meant to be a therapy doll let us know so we can make the baby lighter for you.
Photography is done in our studio with natural lighting available at the time. Our images are not filtered or altered and may not be used without permission. We try to keep photography as honest as we can.
Feel free to ask questions we love answering them, please note that Saint Cloud does have a no return policy. Make sure this is the baby you really want before you order. We also DO NOT do customs, lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time. All our babies are going home for the first time.
(A "box opening" is a separate charge of 50.00. We usually do these for our You Tube friends that film their box openings or want to make the opening special for the person they are gifting the baby to. The items in a box opening are chosen by Saint Cloud Nursery for that particular baby.
Our babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
