Offered in this listing is the long discontinued Jaden sculpt by Aleina Peterson. Jaden was one of the first sculpts I ever painted and has been sitting in my studio. She is not a bad early baby, but I was learning to paint hair and did not get the growth pattern quite right- I am including several pictures so that you can see for yourself. Nonetheless, she is very cute and a hard to find sculpt.
She is about 20” long with three quarter limbs on a doe suede body. She has a fair skin tone with light mottling, veining, blushing, creasing, and thin skin detail. Her nails are tipped and all of her vinyl is varnished with a moist look added to the appropriate places. She has painted eyebrows and rooted mohair lashes that are sealed. Inside she is weighted with enclosed glass beads and poly-fil and weighs around 4 pounds. She is a bit floppy and this makes her very cuddly, you will need to support her head just like a real baby. She does have a strong magnet for a pacifier so care should be taken around electronic devices especially pacemaker. Jaden is an art doll that is not safe, nor intended for children.
Her price reflects that she one of my first babies and not at all like I paint now. However, I am sure someone will love her! Please ask questions as she is a final sale baby. She comes with the little pink leopard tutu outfit you see pictured, care instructions, diaper, pacifier, two headbands, and a receiving blanket.
Whenever I list an early baby and it is sold, I get e-mail asking if I have others but I truly am nearly out of early work that can be offered at such a discount. Thank you for considering one of my early babies!
