This is Ace, I have been holding onto this sculpt for a while waiting for the right time to paint him. He is the Evelyn Brace sculpt by Cassie Brace, he is a limited edition sold out sculpt and will come with his COA. He has full vinyl limbs and a soft cloth body that is weighted generously with glass beads. He is a big boy at 23 inches and heavy!
Ace is painted in ethnic skin tones. I have only ever seen him painted as a fair baby and I thought he might look interesting painted as a baby with skin a little more rich and pigmented. Ace is a little older than a newborn so the caramel skin works on him. He has deep undertones of amber, rose, lavender, salmon and periwinkle. He is creased, mottled, blushed and is really beautifully painted.
I painted his hair in several shades of dark brown and brown/black. His hair is textured and sealed. His eyelashes are rooted with dark brown mohair.
Ace is magnetized and lightly scented and will come with his nursery paci.
Ace is a big baby and fills your arms, he is really fun to dress. His gender can be changed as his sculpt was originally female but I think he is all boy. If you would like me to send him home as a girl I would be more than happy to.
Ace is very realistic in his painting and his sculpt, Cassie Brace is an amazing sculptor and it wasn't easy getting ahold of this sculpt, I had to do a little work to find him.
Ace is wearing a 3 month sized romper but depending on style and label he can fit into 0-3 and some 3-6 mo sized clothing. He is super fun to dress.
I played with the idea of top-rooting him but I decided to leave him the way he was, if you would like me to top root him I can make that happen but there would be a 35.oo added charge and it would mean a couple extra days wait for him to come home. It would be directionally rooted but not mono-rooted. The purpose would be to give him extra softness.
I sealed his hair with satin varnish so it is not matte, I wanted it to look a little shiny and soft. I wasn't sure how the mohair would play off that texture and he seemed complete to me.
You are buying a beautiful numbered limited edition sculpt by a wonderful artist and it is painted in a way that is not common. If you are a collector Ace would be a great addition.
Real Reborns are made one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if we feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description.

Photography is done in our studio with natural lighting available at the time. Our images are not filtered or altered and may not be used without permission. We try to keep photography as honest as we can. Please note that we pull up tight when we photograph and use HD photos so that you can get up close and magnified. These details are like looking at a baby with a magnifying glass, in person babies will be softer an you won't see these details. Our aim is to be honest so that you can be sure when you are making your decision.

We also DO NOT do customs, lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time. All our babies are going home for the first time.
(A "box opening" is a separate charge of 50.00. We usually do these for our You Tube friends that film their box openings or want to make the opening special for the person they are gifting the baby to. The items in a box opening are chosen by Saint Cloud Nursery for that particular baby.
Our babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
