Oh Sugarplum! This is the Realborn Owen awake sculpt, she is a vinyl baby about 19 inches long with full limbs and a soft cloth weighted body. Sugar is sweetness...she has delicately painted hair in several shades of brown, auburn and blond. Her sweet little eyes are framed in soft light brown mohair rooted eyelashes. She has baby blue-grey eyes.
Sugarplum has a medium to fair complexion, she is mottled and blushed is salmon pink. She has a gold, lavender, blue and pink undertones.
Sugarplum is magnetized and lightly scented she will come home with her nursery paci. She is perfect for any collector, teen or tween mommy and could be used for therapy but not for a memory home, she is heavey and has a strong earth magnet. Reborns are never intended fro small children.
Artist Notes: I didn't think this would be as cute a baby as I expected. I wasn't super stoked about the sculpt but when she started to come to life I fell in love with her sweet little face. She is a serious but dreamy little baby, a good cuddle and her painting turned out pretty awesome. This is a baby that is going to make someone very happy. Real Reborns are made one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if we feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description.
Our babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. We do not weigh babies, they are filled to be as realistic as we can make them. If this is meant to be a therapy doll let us know so we can make the baby lighter for you.
Photography is done in our studio with natural lighting available at the time. Our images are not filtered or altered and may not be used without permission. We try to keep photography as honest as we can.
Feel free to ask questions we love answering them but please note that Saint Cloud does have a no return policy. Make sure this is the baby you really want before you order. We also DO NOT do customs, lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time. All our babies are going home for the first time.
(A "box opening" is a separate charge of 50.00. We usually do these for our friends that film their box openings or want to make the opening special for the person they are gifting the baby to. The items in the box opening are chosen by Saint Cloud Nursery for that particular baby.)
Our babies are double checked before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
