Up for adoption is an adorable small newborn/ large preemie sized baby created from the "Lane" sculpt by Sandra White. She has been painted with many layers of transparent paint to resemble a real infant. She has a fair complexion with mottling and veining. All of her creases and thin skin areas have been shaded. Her nails and lips have subtle shine and I have added a little gloss in areas that often have a moist look such as the corner of her eyes. She is about 18" long and weighs about 4lbs. She has full arms and long 3/4 legs. I put her on a body for full legs because I felt her legs were long enough to work that way and it allows for her to wear just a diaper or bodysuit without the cloth showing above her legs. She is so cuddly and sweet!
Her hair was hand painted in light and medium brown and she has rooted mohair lashes that frame her eyes in a realistic way. The lashes have been sealed on the inside. She has a cloth body and vinyl limbs weighted with poly fil and fine glass beads. Her head is also weighted and will need support just like a real infant. She contains an earth magnet for her pacifier that is strong and should be kept away from medical devices like pacemakers and other electronics. Because of the glass beads and magnet this doll is for collectors and not suitable for young children as it could pose a hazard.
She will come with the clothing she is pictured in, magnetic pacifier, two headbands, a receiving blanket, birth certificate, and care instructions. Other items are photo props and are not included. She fits large preemie or small newborn size best and will be fun to shop for.
