This listing is for this beautiful sold out limited edition reborn Penny by Natali Blick, #583/999. Penny is 22 inches long and weighs approximately 7 lbs 5 oz. This adorable little girl is painted with many layers of Genesis paints. She has subtle under the skin veining and mottling and hand painted eyebrows. Her hair is painted and rooted with wavy mohair. Please be aware when hair is combined, painted and rooted, the rooting is to add realism to the painted hair and is not as full as rooted only hair typically is. The artist made her hair a little longer on the sides, so that it can be pulled up into tiny side ponies as seen in a couple of her pictures. Her hair is shorter in the back but the sides could be trimmed to be even if this bothers you. I preferred to keep it longer on the sides so I could make small ponytails. Penny's body is made of doe suede fabric. She has full arms and legs. Her body, limbs and head are weighted with micro glass beads, poly pellets, and the softest poly fill so she feels just like a real baby. She has a magnet in her head (caution should be taken around pace makers and electronics) so she can take a modified magnetic pacifier (not included). She also has an open mouth posture so can take a non magnetic modified pacifier (one of my choice will be included). She is adorable and very snugly.
This reborn is a one of a kind work of art. She is intended for a mature collector and not young children. She should be held just like a real baby. If cared for properly she will give you years of enjoyment. She comes from a smoke and pet free environment. She will come home with her COA, 2 outfits in her pictures, and a modified pacifier of my choice (stuffed animals, blankets, and other props not included).
