On a Sunday Afternoon as we were turning over the soil in our garden beds for spring planting we heard the bell. A mama in labor all baby and not much else. We assumed we needed to prepare for the difficult deliver of a very large baby to a very small young woman. Labor was in full swing so there wasn't much time to worry or do much fussing. A little girl emerged into the world before we could make proper introductions. She was so much smaller than we imagined and we were surprised but not as surprised as we were when her sister joined her. There was much laughter and clapping, a few expected tears... then the clouds covered the sun and showered our garden beds.
Adeline and Annabelle are the Leah and Lane twins by Sandra White. They are 19 inches long (they are a bigger preemie) they have 3/4 legs and full arms. They each have a soft body that is scented and filled with micro glass beads and fiberfill. Limbs and heads are weighted with glass beads. As with most reborns they are made of a soft vinyl that has been tinted with many layers of translucent paint that is heat set one layer at a time.
They have hair that is rooted over a carefully prisma and painted hair. Eyelashes and hair are a baby brown mohair, eyebrows are painted. They have delicate lips and fingers, long feet, tiny toes and are absolutely lovely.
This particular sculpt does not have a lot of wrinkle detail. Completions are mottled and warm. Babies have realistic veining. They have bodies that are easily posed and very floppy for that real baby feel.
They are being adopted together, they are sisters and it would not be fair to separate them. The price has been adjusted for a twin adoption. They are weighted well and wear newborn clothing. You can change the gender when they arrive but will be shipped as girls.
