Emma Rowan from the Rowan sculpt by Donna Rubert By: HoneyBunnyBabies
Date of Reborn: 12.16.2016 Sculpt: Rowan by Donna Rubert Weight: 7 pounds Height: 24 inches
Paints: Baby Fx air dry paints, sealed with Matte and Sure Bond sealer.
Nails: Softly painted with light half moons. Tips lightly painted. Nails sealed with air dry gloss.
Hair: Finely rooted with medium brown mohair from Silk Effex, a popular online seller. Rooted with a 42 gauge three barb rooting needle. Hair can be lightly dampened with water or baby doll mohair conditioner and then styled with fingers or baby brush. Remember any babies mohair can be damaged or pulled out with anything but light handling. This includes constant clothing changes. Hair has been sealed with water proof glue.
Body: Doe suede, fabric torso with gathered tush and chest. Filled with poly fibers and glass beads for weight.
Eyes: Brown acrylic side glancing eyes with light brown, applied (not rooted) eyelashes.
Eyebrows: Brown, finely painted brows.
This baby came to me with pierced ears. I have kept them in and they don't have backs, couldn't really get them on due to the closeness of the posts to the side if the head.
Painting style: Emma is painted with a light complexion. She has veining that is barely visible under her "skin" She is blushed in appropriate places. Her cheeks are a pretty, rosey pink. Lips are beautiful and sealed with airdry gloss.
Emma is a large, heavy baby. She is weighted with glass beads in her limbs and body. Her head has a pouch of glass beads and makes her head floppy even though she can sit up with a prop (like a pillow) behind her. Her head must be supported when held.
Size of clothing: Emma wears three months and possibly up to six months clothing. Newborn and zero to three months are definitely too small.
Coming home with baby: vintage pinafore dress and bloomers seen in pictures (really pristine), a blanket, magnetic hair bow, headband, magnetic pacifier, the size three diaper she is wearing, birth certificate, care instructions, a lovey and a surprise item.
Baby will come sealed in a bag to prevent water damage.
