This beautiful baby girl is a PARTIAL silicone baby. She is the adorable Charlie sculpt that was 3D printed from photos of an actual real life baby at Bountiful Baby. This darling was brought to life my me and comes with her authentic Bountiful Baby COA. This baby was painted using psycho paints and my own mixture of colors to bring out her beautiful ethnic complexion. She is a partial silicone baby so her head and limbs are made of a beautiful, soft platinum solid silicone. She has been matted well but care must still be taken when handling her. If dust collects on her simply wipe her down gently with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT RUB! Doing so will cause the matting to come off. Baby does have a few shine spots so her price reflects that issue. If you’ve been following me you know I’m new to silicone so matting is my learning curve. However, using a silicone matting powder such as silicone velvet, Just Matte or similiar will take out that shine. It does not affect the quality nor paint. Those spots were sealed and matted but still shine a bit anyway. As you can see from the photos at the end, powdering her does well to make it much less noticeable. I put a light dusting of powder. Doing so also protects her silicone from friction when changing clothes. Great care must be taken when handling silicone babies. Changing clothing often, rubbing, extremes in temperatures and clothing with bleedable dyes will harm the silicone. Please avoid these. Imani’s hair was micro rooted using exquisite soft curl virgin human hair. I took great care and time to give her a beautiful head of hair that can be gently styled using a soft baby brush and comb. Please do not tug on her hair. Hair cannot be sealed in place on silicone. Tugging and pulling will cause the hair to come out. I have rooted deeply but too much styling will cause excessive shedding and the hair will thin then come out. Imani does not take a pacifier as most of these kits from Bountiful baby do not have open mouths. I have given her hyper realistic skin depth using many layers to achieve a realistic look. Painted just barely there nails and rooted eyebrows. Please view all pics very closely. Baby has a custom doe suede body filled with poly fil and fine glass beads.
