This listing is for Sandie, a toddler by Joanna Kazmierczak. Sandie is about 25" tall with chubby straight legs meant for standing. This is my second version of Sandie. The first time I used an armature to aid in standing, but I hated how it felt and how stiff it made her, so this time I skipped that. Sandie will NOT stand on her own, but you can get cute standing poses by carefully using props. For every day display I would probably use a doll stand. Sandie can also sit, but be careful because it is not natural position for the way she is sculpted and the body that came with her, so it can make the leg want to pop out of the cloth body. So sit her gently.
Sandie has a fair skin tone with shading, blushing, veining, and other details to create a lifelike appearance. I did take pictures in different lighting, so you will seem some differences across my photos. She has brown painted hair, brows, and lower lashes, her upper lashes are applied. All of her paint work has been sealed with varnish. I used satin in areas that are typically moist. She has a very strong magnet for her pacifier so care should be taken around sensitive electronics especially medical devices.
I love vintage and antique baby clothing and wanted her to come with something unique, so I am sending her in a pale yellow dress from the 1930's or 40's and a cream coat and bonnet set from the 1950's or 60's. Although from different eras they match nicely She will also come with vintage shoes, her tights and headband are new. Also included is her magnetic pacifier, certificate of authenticity, art studio certificate, and care instructions. Any other items are props and not included.
