Introducing my rendition of the "Winter" sculpt by Laura Tuzio Ross. This is my 2nd time painting a Winter sculpt. Laura Tuzio Ross & I both worked on Winter's Prototype (see coa as pictured). I brought Winter to realism using many layers of GHSP. After the paint cured, I applied a soft matte finish. Winter has a beautiful biracial skin tone, brown eyes and applied wispy lashes.
Winter's lips and nails are sealed with a light gloss to prevent any chipping.
I rooted Winter with high quality mohair inserting 1-3 strands at a time in a brown shade. Winter is not mono-rooted.
The inside of the head has been sealed with glue to secure my rooting. Please use gentle care while styling. I suggest using a spritz water bottle and a toothbrush for combing. Do not tug or pull at the hair. Shedding is normal, but if you do pull hard on the mohair, it will come out! Gentle use please.
I also gave Winter a magnetic pacifier. If you would like it removed, it is no trouble and can be done.
Winter wears newborn size clothing and will come home with the following: 2 Outfits, Hat, Socks Blanket, Plush Toy Diapers, COA and magnetic pacifier.
I took many pictures of Winter to capture details. Pictures were taken in natural light at different times of the day. It takes me 2-3 days to complete photography sessions, and some days are not always sunny.
