Max, sculpt by Linda Scherer, just finished today. The last time I made a Max I did it as a boy. My oh my, Max is cuter as a girl. What do you think?
Max weighs 4 pounds 12 ounces and is 20" long. Baby has full arms and 3/4 legs. Painted with many layers of Genesis heatset paints, baby's skin has deep mottling, creases, shading, and blushing to give her a true skintone of a young baby. She has big brown eyes, applied long eyelashes and painted hair. She has been sealed with a mat varnish.
Max will come home in her beautiful pink frilly dress and a onsie underneath along with her coordinating booties and headband. In her box she will also have her baby blanket, a couple of cute diapers, magnetic pacifier, baby bottle and a snuggly traveling companion to keep her company on her way home to her new family.
