Say hello to little Henley Jean!
I used air dry paints to create this wide eyed ginger from the Henley vinyl kit. Her skin is a pale porcelain complexion, lightly blushed, and her wavy hair is painted on in a shade that matches the applied eyelashes framing her big blue eyes. Her nails are ivory tipped. I've glossed her nails and lips, also her limb flanges (to make them move more smoothly).
I applied a layer of a subtle shimmer to this baby's skin for a dewy demi-glow. It is sealed on. It's not excess shine, but if a super matte look to your dolls is important, you should note this feature.
My little one weighs 3 pounds and is weighted with tiny glass beads, for a diminutive feel to her small size. Henley Jean wears preemie sized clothes.
This darling baby girl arrives in the outfit shown, along with scratch mitts, a magnetized pacifier that has a baby seal design, a plush seal toy pal, and a receiving blanket. Also includes a birth certificate and Henley kit's COA.
**Henley Jean has a few minor boo boos that are reflected in her price. She has a couple of very faint white marks from where her shine remover later dried unevenly. I couldn't remove them without damaging the varnish. She has a small white speck in the inside of one foot and a tiny white mark on the outer crease of her right nostril.**
Dolls created with air dry paint and mediums can have a grainier/chalkier finish to the touch than dolls created with heat set paint. If this is an issue of concern at all for you, please consider whether Henley is the right choice. Feel free to ask for closer up/detail pics before you decide to adopt her, should you require them. I do not issue refunds. Henley Jean is not a silicone doll.
My home and doll studio are smoke free. There are 2 cats in residence. I try my best to keep all cat hairs off of dolls/clothes and out of box openings but one or two may find their way in.

Reborn babies are hand-made collectible art dolls. They are intended for keeping and enjoyment by adults and are not intended for child’s play.
Keep the following care instructions in mind when deciding whether to purchase a reborn baby doll. You will receive a care sheet with these instructions with your doll.
• Handle with extra care. Reborns are more delicate than mass market, store bought dolls. Always be gentle. Never leave them unsupervised around children or pets.
• Do not wet your doll, except for an occasional light wipe of a very soft, lightly moistened cloth on the vinyl head or limbs. Avoid rubbing! Your skin has natural oils that can rub off on the vinyl, leaving it shiny. Be careful when dressing and undressing the doll, as too much friction can also result in unwanted shine. Always wash newly bought dark clothes or blankets twice before putting on the doll, as dye can stain the skin permanently. Putting a white layer of clothing underneath dark colors should prevent color transfer
• Avoid picking the baby up by the limbs or head. Always keep a supportive hand beneath the body and cradle the head. (Just like a real baby!) There are small pouches of tiny glass (and/or metal beads or poly pellets) placed throughout your baby for realistic weight, and should not be removed except under careful handling in a contained area free of pets or children. All internal filling and weighting materials (and a magnet, if included, as well as any pacifier and pacifier leash/clip) are potential choking hazards.
• Never leave your baby near a heat source, in a hot car or in prolonged sunlight. These things can warp or discolor. Likewise, do not store your baby in extreme cold. Don't let too much dust accumulate on the doll; a few gentle strokes with a very soft makeup brush can be used to remove dust. A smoke-free environment will protect the doll from burns and lingering odors.
• Your reborn should never be stored in a plastic container or bag, as there are oils in the doll's vinyl that could interact negatively with plastic. Always wrap your baby doll in plain white tissue paper and place in a cardboard box, if you need to store it.
• If your baby is modified to take a magnetic pacifier, there is a powerful magnet glued behind your reborn’s lips. A modified doll (and the modified magnetic pacifier) should never be near pacemakers or around phones/electronics. Importantly, supervision is necessary around children and pets to ensure any dislodged magnets are not ingested, as they can pose risk of serious internal injury.

Layaway Available:
With a non-refundable 30% deposit, a layaway of up to six weeks may be available for buyers with no negative history on their Reborns account. For serious buyers who can provide references and have no negative history on Reborns, a layaway of up to 3 months may be an option. Layaways (plus shipping) must be paid in full within the agreed upon term. Dolls not paid in full after the term, or for whom payments fall behind, may be made available to other buyers. All deposits and layaway payments are non-refundable.

I generally only ship on Saturdays, due to transportation issues. Delivery is via US Mail, either priority or ground advantage rate, depending on the cost. If the flat fee buyer paid exceeds priority mail rate, the doll may be sent via USPS ground advantage rate, which could add another 1-2 days in transit. All shipments are insured for full value of contents and will require a signature for final delivery. Signature requirement cannot be waived.
I photograph each doll and all box opening items at the time of packing, to ensure it arrives in the same condition it was sent. I pack well and use sturdy boxes for baby's safe traveling!
