This beautiful reborn is the Sam kit by the amazing Gudrun Legler. He has been brought to life by me (Zoë Johnston) using both Genesis and BC heat set paints. I love this kit - I think Sam's face is so incredibly gentle and realistic looking. I find his serene expression so relaxing!
Sam is weighted with quality ground glass granules and clean polyester in all the right ways so that his head flops back and his limbs spring open when he's being held, just like a real tiny baby. He is 7.5 pounds (3.4 kg) and feels absolutely gorgeous to hold; a real squish ball of a weighty baby. He is approximately 19 inches long, with lightly warm skin which is made up of many different subtle tones as well as realistic little blemishes here and there. He has been double sealed with BC heat set varnish and two layers of soft touch matte coating. He is fitted with a magnet to enable him to take a dummy/pacifier (please be careful around pacemakers). This magnet can be removed by request if necessary.
Sam is rooted with the softest, sweetest warm chocolate brown alpaca hair which I carefully sourced and tried out against other brands. He is directionally mono and micro rooted and has the most gorgeous swirl on his crown as well as lovely broad curves coming over the top of his head. The hair is extremely easy to brush and does tend to look good however it is positioned. It is firmly glued from the inside, just like his delicate rooted eyelashes.
