Quincy Madison (Pre-Owned)
Meet baby Quincy! Who is made out of the LSOLE Madison sculpt by Andrea Acrello. Quincy is what I'm going to call an "experiment" baby 🤣 Please read the entire description before purchasing because she is a little different. I left the artist portion blank, because I wasn't quite certain what to put. Long story short, Quincy was originally painted by the amazing master artist Holly of Precious Paz. Quincy is an older baby of hers, that she altered into a 1/4 limb baby and had in her personal collection for a while. Quincy has had quite a few owners. By the time I received her, she had quite a few flaws. She had paint rub on almost all her fingers, toes, and some knuckles as well as some minor damage to the vinyl. I have a before video I took of all the damage that I can send to anyone seriously interested. I reached out to Holly to see if she was interested in repairing the paint rub but I never heard back. So I decided to fix the paint rub myself, however after I got started I kept noticing more minor flaws in the paint and I ended up giving her an entire makeover. I tried to honor Holly's work and stick with her general style, however I admit I did an entire in-depth makeover on her, so she isn't really a "Paz" baby anymore. I added some more details, I added significant red tones, I changed out her eyes for hand blown newborn dark scleral eyes, I revarnished and added some 3D effects, some skin texture, dry skin effect as well at 3D effects on her lips and some light glossing on her nails. I also completely re-weighed and stuffed her. I used her old body, but put in brand new luxury polyfill as well as brand new glass beads. I weighed her very heavy, cuddly and floppy, just how I love my babies. I even put weighted pouches in her upper arms and legs making her the ultimate cuddle baby. My favorite style of baby is fresh newborn and Quincy absolutely fits that bill. I actually touched her up with the idea of keeping her in my private collection because I loved her so much, but was so disappointed in the condition I originally received her in. I absolutely love Precious Paz, as well as this amazingly cuddly sculpt. However just like every other baby I have worked on, I can't bond with "my own work". I was hoping since I just touched this baby up/did a makeover that I would be able to bond, especially because she turned out exactly how I was hoping and imagined in my head but unfortunately the bond just isn't there. There originally was a tiny shallow scratch one of her ears, that was so shallow the touch up completely hid it and I thought there was a cut that was repaired in her vinyl on her left hand between her extended fingers, but after I started working on her I'm pretty sure it was just a build up of paint but I am absolutely not positive so am mentioning it. This baby tells a story, she was very very loved at one point, definitely held and cuddled. She pretty much looks brand new now, but I believe it's only fair to tell her entire story just so anyone looking to purchase knows exactly what to expect. I had absolutely no idea what to charge for this baby, that's kinda why I called her an experiment, I tried fun techniques and just wanted to freshen this baby up. Overall I'm quite happy with how she turned out. I think the pictures are very accurate and honest. I took them in a naturally light room, I used my living room with subtle artificial lighting directly in the naturally light window to get the most natural look possible. In person I'd say the dry skin is slightly more subtle, it really pops in the pictures. But overall the pictures represent her perfectly, and showcase her fresh red newborn vibes. I am open to offers on her, because I want to find her a loving home. I also do adore her, so don't mind keeping her for a while. Who knows maybe I will bond 🥺
