Maria was a joy to paint. I used a new reference book for Hispanic/Latino skin tones for the first time! I’d say that my technique overall is improving. Rooted with dark brown Mo-hair from Ruby Red. I also tried some new shadowing, or as we know it, contouring colors for shadow effects. I believe I will adopt and use this technique with each kit from here on out!
Her sweet lips, to her soft dreaming sleeping face, Maria 1 month old kit from bountiful baby has been my best work yet!
