Alexis is a darling little lady who is ready to grace your home with her snuggly presence. She is meticulously painted with Golden Fluid air dry paints, her hair details drawn with Prismacolor pencils. She has soft textured skin with a subtle, shimmery glow, and has been double varnished and filled with a blend of fine glass beads and Polyfil for that cozy newborn feel.
Alexis will travel to her new home with two beautiful outfits, a soft blanket, modified pacifier and strap, diapers, and a lovey for her journey home.
Please note that Alexis has some areas where small pieces of lint were sealed into her varnish and she is priced accordingly. More weight can be added at customer’s request. ***
Welcome! My name is Joy and I create sweet schattebouts (“little darlings” in Dutch- my Grandma’s nickname for me) to fill your heart and your arms with love.
Schattebout Reborns are crafted using Golden Fluid air dry acrylic paints and mediums, powder pigments, and Prismacolor Premier pencils. These dolls are hand painted, not factory made, so perfect little imperfections should be expected.
Each baby is weighted with a combination of fine glass beads and polyfil to have that authentic newborn feel. These dolls are works of art, not toys, and need to be handled with loving care so that they can be enjoyed for many years to come.
