This may be the first doll I have ever painted whilst there was snowy landscape outside my window. I quite enjoyed it; and of course I had to do a snowy photo shoot with this little guy: he slept right through it:)
*Length: 24in. *Weight: 7lbs 13oz. *Weighted with glass beads and Poly-fil. *The hair and eyebrows are of heat set Genesis paints. *His lips and mouth,nose and corners of the eyes are glossed with paper gloss. *His hands and feet are sealed with Decoart and coarnstarch. (I only matte the hands and feet to reduce the shine and add extra protection.) *The eyelashes are rooted, light brown mohair. * He has a blue patch on his right wrist and tiny poke in the vinyl just below that (as shown in the pictures) also, some places on his skin as an almost freckle like dots on the paint (I can only guess that my paintbrush flicked on it and I didn't notice until after I set the paint.) I tried to capture it with the camera, but it's hard to focus on. Anyway, if you're looking for perfection, then he's not for you, but if he's stolen your heart regardless, he'd love to be adopted by you. *He comes home in the star outfit shown in the pictures.
