Please welcome precious Layla Cuddle baby to my nursery!🥰 This cuddle baby is from the Layla kit by Suzette Du Plessis. I am showing this kit as a boy since that is what I saw as I was in the process of painting him. However, this kit would also make a beautiful girl as well.😉 He is such a precious snuggly baby! The adorable, cuddly cloth body is from Macpherson's. It is a flesh-colored multi-panel cuddle body that is very poseable. The cloth limbs are filled with fine glass beads and soft Poly-fil.
The vinyl head has been brought to life with many layers of Acrylic paint and sealed twice with soft-touch matte varnish. I have painted him with many details including soft veining and mottling, small capillaries, and a bit of "moisture" added to his lips, ears, nostrils, and corners of his eyes. He has painted dark brown hair and brown eyebrows, and rooted brown lashes. He wears newborn-size clothing and diapers. He is weighted to feel as if you are holding a real baby and you will need to support her head.
Layla cuddle baby will be sent home in the sleeper, hat, and socks in the photos plus another sleeper and mits, a magnetic pacifier, 2 diapers, and a baby-scented wafer placed in his diaper. He will also be wrapped in a blanket along with care info. and a birth certificate.
