This sweet baby made from the Realborn Jade Awake sculpt is a , which means she is less detailed than my regular high end reborn babies. She has a cuddle body which means only the head is painted vinyl and the body including arms and legs are stuffed, weighted cloth. She was made using the dip dye method to create a darker base skin tone and then painted in my usual budget baby style. This baby also has rooted eyelashes, “barely there” eyebrows, and combi hair (painted / prismacolor with real mohair rooted just on top for added dimension). She has a magnet for a magnetic pacifier (included.) She has been varnished for paint protection. She will have a removable scent wafer in the diaper so she will come home smelling like a real baby.
Budget babies, while still beautiful reborn dolls, do not have all of the fine details such as extra blushing on the feet and hands, veining, stork bites, scratches, milia, and the deep newborn undertones and rich color to the skin tones that my high end reborn dolls have. They are painted in fewer layers which takes much less time and allows me to offer them at a much lower price point.
She will come home wearing a diaper and the pink bunting pictured. She will also come home with the headband pictured, an extra diaper, magnetic pacifier, “it’s a girl” gum cigar, certificate of authenticity and care instructions.
