Please welcome August to the Cradle Creations nursery. 🥰 I have mainly photographed this baby as a boy but did include 1 photo as a girl. I can change the Layette to a girl if preferred. This beautiful baby is made from the August sculpt by Dawn McLeod. August is a LE-#1688 of 2020. He is approximately 22 in. long with bent legs (would be longer if legs were straight). August weighs 6 lbs 4 oz. He is painted with Genesis Heat Set paints and finished with a genesis varnish. August is floppy and needs head support. He wears newborn size clothing. August is painted with many layers of GHSPs to create a realistic skin tone. Paint details include mottling, subtle veining, capillaries and newborn blemishing. His eyelashes are rooted with medium brown mohair. His hair is meticulously painted with 4 different shades of air dry brown paint to create a 3-D look. He is weighted with glass beads and stuffed with polyfil to feel like a real baby. His nails are tipped and sealed. August has a magnetic pacifier. Precautions should be taken around people with pacemakers.
August will come home with the clothes he is photographed in. He will also come home with a magnetic pacifier, 2 diapers, hand knitted hat, socks, receiving blanket, COA and a few extra clothes. Props and stuffed animal with matching hat is not included.
